Spring Flood Reminder - Time to Review Flood Guides

April 15, 2021 - As snow is melting and Spring rains occur in the coming days, it is important for businesses with underground storage tanks to review local and EPA flood guides.

Pay close attention to water accumulating in containment sumps and the potential for water entering the interstice of double wall pipe. If you believe this may have happened, it is strongly recommended that you contact a petroleum service company and remove the water before it freezes and causes damage. If you receive an alarm in one of your sumps, immediately determine the cause and take appropraite corrective action to prevent further issues.
